The first feature film from Brendan Films The Highest Brasil was nominated for the Jury Award for Narrative Feature at Austin Film Festival 2023. It has been described as 'incredibly brilliant,' 'a statement of doom' and 'reminiscent of The Coen Brothers.’ MovieMaker Magazine named the film’s writer/director Jeremy Curl as one of the ‘Top 25 Screenwriters To Watch.’ The worldwide rights were acquired by a major Los Angeles distributor with Apple TV and Prime Video streaming the film.

Brendan Films’ next project Spooky Action At A Distance is currently in development with shooting slated for summer 2025. An absurdist comedy, it is a complete perversion of the human longing for connection.
